Whats sad about it? Germany sowed the seed and reaped the whirlwind. Ever see video of the Krauts did to Warsaw? They weren't content with just bombing it from the air. They dynamited it from the ground as well. They leveled it.

Being in the US, we forget the destruction during WWII. It was many years before the damage was repaired.
