Sep 09, 2013 · After a star-studded comedy roast fueled by a million gay jokes, James Franco once more has responded to perennial gossip about his sexuality. The gay ...
Oh, please. It was nothing personal to hire Franco, they just needed a place-holder grunt to flip burgers and help them make a profit.
Truly free-market employment agreements are mutually beneficial agreements, always.
RE: James Franco: I Wish I Was Gay
Well, that’s one way to shut them up :)
The good thing about McDonalds is you can go from there to being elected President. It’s a more highly skilled job than community organizer.

Yeah, what he truly needs is to be thankful we still have a capitalist system.
Anyhow I will give this HollyWeird lib props for being loyal to his old employer at a time when they are down and being kicked. I agree with him on the french fries. With a lot of salt and straight out of the fry-o-lator they are good and the only thing I will buy there (unless I am desperate)
If you like the fries pay first and tell them you will wait for hot and fresh....just saying
Has anyone ever seen a stray dog in the vicinity of a McDonald’s?
Also in general you will find a much better class of people working at McDonald’s than you will find at 99.99% of community organizing operations.
he’s a kook lol Always has been but it’s funny in a quirky way. The Interview was hysterical.
I self identify as a black lesbian. I can’t help it. I was born this way.
And a too high minimum wage would have killed that for him, and lots of young and/or desperate folks. Minimum wage is a depression bringer.
His story reminds me of Penny from Big Bang Theory working at the Cheesecake Factory. You do what you have to do till something better comes along
While I'm glad for him that he was able to find work in his chosen profession I think claiming he is "one of the most successful actors in the industry" is overstating it a bit.
My take is that the Federal government in the DC region is so so so highly affirmative action oriented that if half were fired tomorrow the only jobs they could do in the real world (AKA the dreaded private sector) are at McDonalds and similar
Good for him. 999 out of 1,000 Hollywood types wouldn't be caught dead near a McDonalds, with its Capitalist, unhealthy, Middle-American Red State food (think of the story of Gwyneth Paltrow freaking out when Chris Martin took their kids to McDonalds).
If Franco gets the value of work and is grateful for an entry-level job and sees how it was a springboard to bigger and better things, more power to him.
lol
I’ve heard many stories about how half of the waiters and waitresses in LA are aspiring actors and actresses, just waiting for their big break.
I just keep hearing about James Franco almost every day now because he is making another movie in my neck of the woods and Facebook and the local paper seem to be full of stories about it. The movie is based on a book called The Long Home which I had never heard of. It is set in 1940’s Tennessee which made me wonder why he isn’t filming it in Tn instead of Ohio!
Well do have actually produce something, other than bloviation.
