Perhaps that is why the verse of the Bible says..”They will gaze upon him who was pierced and mourn...” There will be realization that the conquering messiah and the suffering messiah were the same person....
An excellent point! They will ask Him where He got the wounds he carries. He will tell them ‘in the house of my friends’, IIRC.
I learned something this evening that I was not aware of: the Jewish rabbinical colleges do not allow their students to read Daniel. Perhaps in the seventieth week these students will get ahold of a Christian Bible and read it and say ‘Hey! That means He is returning to Mt of Olives in ___ days! Better get folks alerted.’
Speaking of verses sayings things (Happy Mother's Day BTW) didja ever notice that Genesis 2:24 says:
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
Didja ever wonder WHAT 'father and mother'??
A&E surely had none; so WHAT is this phase DOING there; in a CREATION story??
Like Tevya; I'll tell ya!
We find the verse referenced by Paul; in his letter to the Ephesians, chapter 5...
31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
God lays some foundation stones really early...
