Perhaps in the gospel of Michael Rood but God's word says different.
Romans 11:11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.
Did Jesus refer to His Church in Matthew 16?
.
No!
He referred to his eternal assembly, the “People for His Name.”
He explained that in Matthew 15:24
.
.
The fact that the eleven prayed and received no answer (recorded in scripture) shows plainly that they acted outside the authority they were given.
As plainly stated in the Revelation, there are exactly 12 apostles.
.
Sorry, the ‘special’ translations from your false prophet, M. Rood, are rejected here. Perhaps you should consult your tagline for inspiration, since you have no respect for Freepers. But we reject your false prophet’s false assertions.
.
Stop being an idiot!
Can you read? Read the scripture!
.
Hm, it may be that you are beyond benefitting from a hug.
Scripture doesn’t say if they recieved answer form God. They appear to have thought they received an answer by casting lots. What other evidence do you offer. I say the numerical structure of scripture is evidence.
Revelation also lists just 12 tribes. Two tribes are mising. There is no list of the apostles but two are missing.
.
The flesh profiteth nothing!
.
.
>> “Scripture doesnt say if they recieved answer form God” <<
.
Wrong! It says they did not. That is why they drew straws.
.
Do a google quicky on Michael Rood. The poster is a devotee of that false prophet and the twisted use of scriptures.
.
Do a google on insanity!
I am not a devotee of anyone but Yeshua, and to my knowledge Mr Rood has never even spoken on this subject.
You are mentally ill.
You , not someone else, called him ‘god’s prophet’.
.
I called him God’s minister.
You lied, as usual.
.
In the context of you on this thread, there is no difference since you assigned him the status of being a chosen of God. He is a false prophet, a fake Rabbi, and is leading many to perdition.
.
All of God’s elect are chosen!
Makes you jealous, huh!
Michael is a minister of the gospel, the true gospel from the word of God, not from Dispy hell.
.
Well it seems that the real bad stuff occurs after the death of the two witnesses and the abomination of desolation...so a rapture before the second 3.5 yrs might be considered probable. Christ said though he’ll come at a time no one expects and that no one knows the time of his coming save the Father in heaven. Christ always had away of confounding the experts, fulfilling scripture but not in the way that we might expect him to dos so. It is probably safer to follow Jesus’ admonition to watch and know the times and lift our heads when we see things predicted start to happen for our redemption draws nigh! It’s the safest as well as the approved by God course to follow!
First, the Church is real and the volume of the New Testament is about it to the Glory of God. The Church IS the body of Christ. [See Col 1:24]
Second, the word dispensation and the meaning thereof is a theme in Paul's letters. [See 1Cor9:17 ; Eph1:10 ; Eph3:2 ; Col 1:25] The Great Tribulation (second half of the seventieth week of Daniel) centers around Israel, and specifically Jerusalem because it is in the Temple that the abomination of desolation will appear, and be seen --probably via CNN-- around the world as he desecrates the Holy of Holies in the rebuilt temple. The Church will be in Heaven at this time, as revealed by John in The Revelation.
The Church Age is the parenthesis between Daniel's sixty-ninth week and the Seventieth week ending in the Day of The Lord. The candlesticks of the seven Churches are just that, the illumination of each of the Churches written to by Jesus in Rev 2 and 3. The Philadelphia Church (a specific church and segment of the Church Age found sprinkled throughout the entire Church Age) is promised by Jesus, Because thou didst keep the word of my endurance, I also will keep thee from the hour of the trial that is about to come upon all the world, to try those dwelling upon the earth.' [Rev3:10]
