I have hope Cruz can push it to 10 or 15 percent. If Krisp Kreme can do it, and he’s an idiot, Cruz can do it.

Republicans can preach individual responsibility and the chains government reliance puts on people all they want. When they get to the part where they tell black voters they're going to cut their welfare payments and maybe eliminate black privileges (i.e. affirmative action, set asides), then there goes the black vote.

There's no way conservative Republicans preaching the gospel of self-reliance will draw black voters. They, blacks, (1) clearly like being dependent on government and (2) having privileges other groups don't have.

The sooner conservative Pubbies understand that and quit wasting their time, the better they can appeal to other groups i.e. independents who can be persuaded.

Anybody but Obama will allow Republicans to get 5-10%. Getting past 10% of the Black vote will require several things that the Republican Party seems unwilling to do. Vote fraud is quite extensive in majority Black precincts. The other major factor is finding spokesmen who can credibly go into black neighborhoods with a conservative message.

Democrats know that both of these strategies will work and fight to prevent them from even being tried. The rent a mob appears to shout down a conservative whenever they try to give a speech in a black area.
