A 27-year-old man was fatally wounded in the parking lot of an Orem grocery store Saturday morning when he was shot by a man with concealed weapons permit who was attempting to stop the man from carjacking a woman's SUV.

You’re welcome. Like all the races in Texas last year, it was still a blowout, 20 points (i.e., 60-40). Sure, it should be higher, but the first 12 points that the Democrats get is the black vote. From there, they only managed to get another 28% of the vote, pretty much split between Hispanics and Whites...so of the 70% of the Texas vote that was white, all but 18% voted Republican...hence the blowout.
I realized that the Dems tried to make a push here, thinking they could get Hispanics to vote as monolithically as blacks, but the Hispanics did not take the bait and nearly split down the middle.
If Hispanics continue to split their vote near-evenly, then the Dems do not stand a chance in Texas (or in any other state where Hispanics split their vote)...although the numbers will appear tighter than they really are.

in large part due to the state’s “compassionate” approach to “immigration”. Salt Lake is a much more dangerous place over the past 25 years. just watch the Salt Lake TV station news for a week and you’ll notice a disturbing trend.

My guess is, it's those that immigrated here legally that don't vote Communist, while those that hop the border and are voting do vote Communist, because of the handouts, free healthcare and schooling and whatnot.

That’s most likely...which is why the Dems are pushing so hard to legalize them, particularly before they’re able learn English and actually participate in our society.
Washington Times reported that the Obama administration told the immigration judge that amnesty was already underway.

We shall see...as long as Congress doesn’t step in EVERYTHING that the President does is reversible.
Unfortunately, the path to citizenship has become so cheap and easy lately, that it is less the case now even for legal immigrants.
