Exactly.
I wanted Manny to win, because as far as I’ve seen, he’s a Gentleman.
Since my father died in the mid-seventies and I’ve watched what has happened to boxing, I’ve known that my Dad is spinning in his grave.
Boxing was once a Gentleman’s Sport...and my father was boxing during that time. He would have abhorred the public and private behavior of so many boxers today; and all of the ‘showmanship’; (not to mention ear-biting, bragging...&c)

Exactly- There were some bruisers though- loud mouths, but for the most p art even the bad hombres were mostly respectful-
Same thing with MMA- started out fairly gentlemanly then as more and more punks entered the ring- it became WWE with everyone disrespecting everyone- showing no class whatsoever - not even much fun to watch anymore0-
