Just weeks ago, the 33-year-old with model good looks was an Instagram star, posting endless photographs of himself some of them shirtless jetsetting around the world, hobnobbing with celebs, training with troops and surfing and sunbaking in exotic locations.
Now, he is the subject of a federal investigation and the target of a multi-million dollar class action.
The pictures have also been used to fuel rumours that Schock is gay an issue only because of his staunchly Republican views and the fact that he campaigned against marriage equality.
On April 15, lawyer Daniel Kurowski filed a lawsuit against Schock on behalf of Howard Foster of Chicago, who donated $500 to Schocks election campaign in 2012. The suit seeks repayment of millions of campaign dollars to Foster and other contributors on grounds the 33-year-old Illinois ex-politician tricked them into supporting him.
As of the end of last month, Schocks campaign reported a cash balance of $3.2 million.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Kurowski told a Chigaco court that hed been unable track down Schock to serve him with the lawsuit in person.
Kurowski said his firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, tried to serve Schock at an address in Peoria listed with the Federal Election Commission, only to find the property vacant.
Schock failed to send a legal team to yesterdays hearing and attempts by US reporters to contact his spokesman by email and phone have so far been met with silence.
Kurowski also said lawyers who appear to have represented Schock in the past have not responded to questioning by his firm.
U.S. District Judge Andrea Wood said Schock is certainly aware of the lawsuit, from what I can tell, according to the Sun-Times.
A status hearing in the civil case is scheduled for June 23.

In other words, the media can’t find him.
“The pictures have also been used to fuel rumours that Schock is gay an issue only because of his staunchly Republican views and the fact that he campaigned against marriage equality.”
Didn’t know that being gay means you have to support “gay” marriage.

So all homosexuals must be for SSM (falsely called ‘marriage equality’)?
'I'm Schocked - Schocked! - to find there's disappearing going on here.'
That’s good.
Greta Van Susteren: I saw the report Rep Aaron Schock missing-I called his cell phone and he answered....so not missing :)
Aaron Schock: Glad to know one reporter does her homework.....
What is *that*????
Here in NJ years ago our closeted gay governor (McGreevey) wouldn’t support “gay marriage”; when he came out, he was shunned by the radical deviants.
right.
It’s okay to be gay (or black or a woman).... unless you have the wrong opinions, then the left will attack you mercilessly
So, at least one reporter actually tries to call him?
lol
Wow, how many missing news items were there before someone picked up a phone?
90 something odd stories of him being missing, and none of those copy-and-pasters considered trying to call him??
What's the deal with Steven Tyler?
Is he "transitioning" like Bruce Jenner?
Don’t be silly, that could be his mom.
That is Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith.
