Hillary loves to lecture us on moral issues, in that whiny, nasal, didactic tone, somehow overlooking the fact that she and her husband have amassed a fortune well north of two hundred million dollars, solely by virtue of their years of public service.
Let’s hope today’s attendance is greater than the attendance in Baltimore yesterday for the Orioles/White Sox game.
People would have attended if they weren’t forcibly excluded...
Didactic - simultaneously executing two tactics.
(best I can do on short notice)
I’m actually subjecting myself to some deadly didactic drivel courtesy of the ABA section of administrative law and practice(aka attending continuing legal ed).
You would think that the American Bar Association would provide you with alcohol, rather than alliterative deadly didactic drivel.
The didactic portion of my internship is complete. I am in the preceptor part now, so less sitting at the desk, which is a good thing.
I prefer moving around to sitting at a desk as well. Good luck! And, any time you feel like working as a professor emeritus here, I would happily give up my Thursday gig for you.
The only reason I am off today is because I have two 12 hour shifts this weekend. So I will run around like a crazy person to get things done today. We were invited to Awards night at the high school tonight but we don’t know what our kiddo has earned yet. Neither does she. Thank you for the offer. :)
I’d be asleep for sure. The session on legal representation of illegal immig children kept me awake by virtue of my feelings of outrage.
Usurpers!
Dear Reader is often didactic-
An overused, favorite tactic
To make him seem smart
While things all fall apart,
But it’s always quite anticlimactic...
It was 43 again this morning-chilly for this time of year-I love it...
I wonder how many others
Want to yell and screech
Every time Obama begins
Another didactic speech?
His tone of voice offends-
It all but hurts the ears-
We’ve put up with his crap
For all the last six years
I hope he stays in Hawaii
With all his fans to gawk-
And all of us are delighted
By never hearing him talk...

Outstanding!

At least Bernie admits he’s a socialist.

As a native Bronxite who used to walk less than a mile to Yankee Stadium, I love that you rhymed gawk and talk, just like I do when I speak.
Visiting #1 Son in Dallas area on Wednesday, for a week. See if you can keep the temperature between 60 and 85.
Thank you! The days are predicted to be in the 70’s to the low 80’s, with nights 45-60 for several days, but that is here in the hills, not Dallas...
