The Lone Star States Republican governor, Greg Abbott, is answering citizens concerns over Operation Jade Helm 15, a lengthy military campaign to train U.S. troops in an urban setting, with a call to arms of his own: hes ordered members of the Texas military to monitor the special-ops exercises.
Jade Helm, as WND has previously reported, kicks off in July in seven states, including Texas, Utah, California and Colorado. The two-month campaign involves special forces with all four branches of the U.S. military working with local law enforcement, as well as with FBI and DEA officials, to respond to mock hostilities in community settings. The campaign has launched a swell of opposition from social-media posters, who say the mission is little more than an attempt for the federal government to pave the way to declare martial law.

Abbott, in a letter to Maj. Gen. Gerald Betty of the Texas State Guard, said his order to monitor the feds was to address concerns of Texas citizens, SFGate.com said.
He wrote: During the training operation, it is important Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property right[s] and civil liberties will not be infringed. I am directing the Texas State Guard to monitor Operation Jade Helm 15.

Trust, but verify... Someone famous once said that.

Is that at the ‘closed’ Wal-Marts??
Or maybe these blue helmets
This guy is a winner.
Wonder how he squares that with the Posse Comitatus Act, whose purpose in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807 is to limit the powers of the federal government in using its military personnel to act as domestic law enforcement personnel. This law is often relied upon to prevent the Department of Defense from interfering in domestic law enforcement
The Texas State Guard is their regulated militia.

lol. Why do I die laughing when I watch that movie. It shouldn’t as funny as it is, but it is. “that’s not all he’s lost” “ah, buckle this!” “she’s gone from suck to blow” “i didn’t see you playing with your dolls again” “what’s the matter colonel sanders, chicken?” an don it goes lol
That guy is an idiot, he looks at American equipment and says look here is American equipment, and look, I have spotted two military helicopters.
This is a good idea. The Texas Guard can participate in the exercise, they are perfect to be the role players for the local potentate palace guards. They will need to supply their own tin foil hats.
The military in your state for 2 months is not an exercise its an OCCUPATION!
The Texas State Guard is a volunteer organization. There is no pay. If you join you will have the rank you held when you were discharged. I’m not sure they have much authority. The only thing I’ve ever seen them do is direct traffic at festivals.
This training is some scary stuff. It’s very wrong for the military to be training with the local cops. I’ve said for years that local cops will wet their pants with excitement if they’re asked to assist the feds.
So it would appear. Love for citizens to note if foreign troops are involved.
Maybe seeing scary professional soldiers close up, will remind the cops that they are just civilians.
“even states, including Texas, Utah, California and Colorado”
Any idea where in colorado? Or I suppose that is secret? I’d like to take pics/vid of the exercise.
