These Women Met a Mormon Man Who They Thought Was the ‘Perfect Guy’ (Dr. Phil Video)

Seven women each thought that they were texting and interacting with the man of their dreams,

... but they soon discovered that the guy they were all building a relationship with was actually a gay woman from Texas.

The victims of the elaborate “catfish” — the term used to describe a situation in which a person poses as someone else — decided to sit down together to confront Kayla, the woman with whom they had corresponded, in an uncomfortable appearance on “Dr. Phil.”

The women were given the chance to question the 24 year old who had tricked them into believing that she was a young Mormon man looking to foster a relationship with each of them, proceeding to ask why she had so strategically duped them.

Kayla, who said she has struggled to rectify her Mormon faith with being gay, apologized to the group and said that she adopted the identity of a man in an effort to explore and deal with her conflicting emotions.

that no Mormon man would want to marry her because she couldn't operate a hot glue gun....

I can understand the logic in this...

These aren't women - not the "catfish" and not her "victims." They are female orcs, and they have no consciences. And it is a lethal mistake to think they do.

The Force is strong in this one...

There is much anger in you, young Padawan.

Reasonable, except for the online part.

How is that unreasonable? A third of new marriages in the US today met online.

Seems like either their standards are too high or too low.

I would venture that they met through an online dating site that vets its members. These women met at through a chat room.

I met my wife here on FR. Also our initial meeting was ‘chaperoned’ by several other FReepers. Dating sites are over rated.

So the next time you’re at a singles bar, stop and ask yourself “what would a gay black woman say right about now?”

Sounds like you used this forum as a dating site and it worked out very well for you. How long ago was that? Are you still married? Are you both happy?

That's what matters. You can tell a lot more about people by what they post (if they are honest) than you can by going out to an expensive restaurant dressed to the 9's.

Not a current one anyway.

Which is extremely funny because you know how women are with each other. Even if they are successful at doing that, they will not enjoy the changes very long.

Women don’t like arguing with a person who thinks and argues like they do. They can’t use the same tactics and get the results they want. When both don’t want to do the heavy work around the house, or fix things, or do the smelly and dirty work - the stuff they leave for the guy to do - they will not like the changes.

You are probably old enough to remember the term "Dandy", a guy who liked to dress nice but wasn't necessarily of the homo orientation.

Women liked Dandies. They didn't like "confirmed bachelors", another Victorian euphemism.
