Top scientists start to examine fiddled global warming figures (Exaggerated records?)
The Telegraph ^ | 4/25/2015 | Christopher Booker

Posted on 04/26/2015 4:58:36 PM PDT by Beave Meister

Last month, we are told, the world enjoyed “its hottest March since records began in 1880”. This year, according to “US government scientists”, already bids to outrank 2014 as “the hottest ever”. The figures from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) were based, like all the other three official surface temperature records on which the world’s scientists and politicians rely, on data compiled from a network of weather stations by NOAA’s

Global Historical Climate Network (GHCN). But here there is a puzzle. These temperature records are not the only ones with official status. The other two, Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) and the University of Alabama (UAH), are based on a quite different method of measuring temperature data, by satellites. And these, as they have increasingly done in recent years, give a strikingly different picture. Neither shows last month as anything like the hottest March on record, any more than they showed 2014 as “the hottest year ever”.

The greatest threat to the planet and humans is government. Always has been, always will be. It directly killed over 100 million just last century. As best as we can figure global warming will be a wash. Some areas lose while others win. Global cooling on the other hand only causes wide spread losses.

The larger the computer model the larger the GIGO (garbage in / garbage out) errors become.

Follow the money. This is all about redistribution of wealth and crony capitalism. The “rich” countries are expected to transfer billions of dollars to the developing world to help them cope with climate change. No doubt these green energy companies will receive billions in contracts. And governments will expand control over our everyday lives. GW is just a pretext for all of this.

Hi, I am a new member, and when I tried to use my usual “user name” “oneeye” I was informed that it was already in use. When I saw yours,I had to chuckle. That’s one name I never thought to use. Sorry if I’m off topic, but too new to PM someone. Did you have any trouble with getting the user name you wanted when you first registered? And how were you able to comment at the Telegraph on that article. I saw that they had over 42,000 comments. Yikes!

The discussion forum they use over there is ‘Disqus’. You have to register to use it, but then you can post on many other web sites that use Disqus.
