The liberal media will very soon be dissing one of their own, they are very serious about protecting their code of lies, deceit and promoting of the progressive liberal communist agenda, they will no doubt at the least chock it up to dementia.

The idea that media is unbiased was never true and nobody pretended it was until ... oh ... mid 20th Century or so.
Media outlets that pretend to be neutral deserve to be outed. But, this is not an issue.

The Progressive Movement undoubtedly got satisfaction in being able to manipulate citizens with dishonest political newspaper articles that, with all due respect to the Pope and other Catholics, low-information citizens tend not to question any more than Catholics question the pope. Evidence of this is the talking head wizard in the Wizard of Oz, and also Orson Wells infamous
War of the Worlds (radio drama).
In fact, I suspect that this mass indoctrinaton effect of the media is what motivated the Progressive Movement to spook citizens to twist the arms of state lawmakers to ratify the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, state lawmakers foolishly giving up their voices in Congress by ratifying that amendment.
The 17th Amendment ultimately established the corrupt media as the nations capitol and needs to disappear imo.

Great catch and analysis.. King is basically saying Fox news is not powerful/influential enough “to elect a president”. Unlike the big 3 media news outlets in their heyday who regularly propagandize.
