When did Taqiyah become de facto policy of the left?

Taqiyah: The practice of concealing one’s beliefs and foregoing ordinary religious duties when under threat of death or injury. — www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/011-taqiyya.htm IN THE ISLAMIC FAITH, deception, either Taqiyah or Kitman — in Islamic jurisprudence, the art of making ambiguous or deceptive statements — is permitted under certain very specific circumstances.

It is the political form of Taqiyah to which I refer when I say that such lying without embarrassment or repercussion has become a too-often-used tool — indeed, the de facto policy — of the left.

It’s not just the left. The GOP/RNC regularly engages in the practice, promising to stop Obama’s agenda before the election and then voting to pass it after the election.

They were doing this LONG before the sixties. In fact, as long as there have been leftists, it's always been standard procedure.

It is indeed the same Benicia. The editor there actually does a pretty good job of publishing local writers with points of view from both sides.
