My wife, who is 42, is going through the exact “music crisis” this article describes. In the last couple of years she’s started to listen to what passes for modern ‘music’, also known as ‘utter sonic rot’.
I’m hoping that she’ll soon get through this phase and come back to being the country music listening gal I married twenty years ago.
Pop country is honestly just as bad as the rest of the autotuned thumpity thump crap on the radio these days. I heard some song where they were making some country song with some gangsta rap arrangement. Disgusting.
