The course, called “Making Sense of Climate Denial”, will start next week, and is free and entirely online.
University of Queensland Global Change Institute climate communication fellow John Cook is the course coordinator as well as founder of the climate science myth debunking website Skeptical Science.
“Ninety-seven per cent of climate scientists agree that humans are causing global warming; however, less than half of Australians are aware of humanity’s role in climate change, while half of the US Senate has voted that humans aren’t causing global warming,” Cook said.
“This free course explains why there is such a huge gap between the scientific community and the public. Our course looks at what’s driving climate science denial and the most common myths about climate change.”

Cook is such an arse. SkS is one of the most intolerant websites with whom I have ever engaged. They lie and delete offensive posts, the ones that present the facts. Then they send you to a dead thread to continue the debate, saying that you have gone OT. That means you have won the debate. It has happened many time to me because I know what I am talking about. CO2-induced global warming is a fraud for a global energy tax.

Who is denying climate exists?
The scum back liberal communist hippies running the University of California offers on their Davis campus a class on Global Warming. Isn’t that a surprise. It is called education but clearly it is not.
Why is there such a huge gap between these lying “scientists” and the common people?
1. Because the common people live in the real world and can recognize the strong obnoxious odor of mendacity. It smells identical to male bovine feces.
2. The common people do not expect to receive gubmint grants and payola if they promote the lying AGW mendacity like the “scientists” with their greedy hands out do.
In 99 44/100 percent of these cases, follow the money trail. You’d be amazed how many “scientists” make the ladies at the Las Vegas Bunny Ranch look like Mother Theresa in comparison.
Their models for their climate proof were all false and then the other deal with climate scientists (who get money from the governments for grants) being caught in a conspiracy to falsify information was exposed two years ago.
It’s like MARCH ON, no matter what lies get exposed.
Here are some set in stone facts of life.
#1 Most of this climate is due to effects of the changing moods of the sun.
#2 Climate always changes and man has very little to do with it.
Free? That tells me what it’s worth.

0.039% carbon dioxide,
and small amounts of other gases.
This claim is based on a fraudulent article he wrote with others a few years ago. It has been decisively debunked across the board to the point that it deserves to be called simply, a lie.

Going back through Cook’s original source material, University of Delaware climatologist David Legates found just 41 of the abstracts – just 0.3 percent of all abstracts and 1 percent of those expressing an opinion (many did not) – concluded human activity was causing most current warming.
From 97% consensus to just 1%. Go fig.
