I wasn't a floor trader. I was on the floor for compliance. Traded through Lynd Waldock.
Brother in law was HUGE oil trader. If you knew any guys on the floor, I will send his name in private mail :)
I made 500 and more percent overnight sometimes but I am SICK greedy, like a degenerate and often ended up losing. lol. So frigging heartbreaking. Bought a ton of soy meal options for 50 bucks and they were 500!!!! dollars a few nights later. but lost.
Bought coffee options a million years ago and there were back to back freezes in south America!!!! made a fortune!!!! lost it back. I HATE myself :) So I'm basically a middle age has been who had his big chances and blew it lol. I can live with that.

Thanks for expressing a bit more honesty than your previous posts have suggested.

I was the guy that jammed up the NYSE Specialist with orders that cut into his profits.

That’s how markets work.

We took the fat out of the system and made for a more transparent playing field.

Our success led to the full automation of orders and any number of alog’s and “dark markets” that have left the average retail trader/investor spinning their wheels.

I have a boat load of respect for successful floor traders.

A rare breed to be sure.
