I’m running 10.10.1 and am not going any farther.

OS X.19.2 and 10.3 fix a lot of the issues that your release had. You need to install the upgrades.

I’m running OSx 10.6.8 and everything is ok, so I don’t upgrade.

I have many gigs of pictures in albums.
As I understand 10.10.3 totally rearranges iPhoto into another new editor suite. Have seen many comments concerning the iPhoto/Photo trouble
I had a hard time xferring everything from Snow Leopard to Maverick . Don’t want to take the chance on another barely compatible move. Esp since you can’t go back to the original.
