Idiot prisoner tried to carve 666 into his forehead but used a mirror so it came out backwards

It was meant to be the ultimate symbol of menace: carving '666' into his forehead.

But in a phenomenal case of idiocy, convicted murderer Nikko Jenkins used a mirror - so the numbers came out backwards.

The symbol is described in the biblical book of Revelation as 'the sign of the beast', and has since been popularized by the horror movie The Omen.

However, with a series of upside-down 9s, Jenkins has fashioned himself an entirely unique - and irreversible - engraving.

Only about 300 of those commandments can be practiced today noting that the Temple system is not currently in operation.

I consider myself Noachide, and so am beholden to the Seven Laws of Noah. Though a few years ago I searched out the 613 and found that I either followed or agreed in principle with 356 of them, which is roughly 3/5.

I fully appreciate your take on this however, knowing that the United States could never have been founded without Christianity.

Relative to the original subject of carvings and tattoos, I do subscribe fully to #253, which is Leviticus 19:28, and am glad to know that you personally seem so disposed as well.

May God Bless You and Yours....

Looked up the Seven Laws and I have no problem with them, though I will note they say nothing one way or the other about tattooing. :)

My apologies if I came across as overly confrontational. I’ve a long history of discussion with “Christians” who take their own cultural norms, look for justification for them somewhere in the Bible, however stretched, and then claim scriptural basis for them. While completely ignoring other laws that don’t flip their switch.

I’m not a fan of tattoos. I think they are in general unattractive. However, I don’t think they’re of themselves an evil practice and strongly suspect their prohibition in the Law was with regard to specific pagan practices of the time, as with with meat/milk prohibition.

May You Live Long and Prosper...

He could have just allowed a professional to tattoo “STUPID” on his forehead.
