AMEN! Last year I went to NYC for the first time...ended up there by accident...couldn’t get my jaw off the floor for an hour! Times Square was the same- again, an accident... walked up out the subway and just froze in awe...
Union Square was also a great surprise...lol—
We literally got on the subway and just explored...first night there- we got lost because my sis lives in Queens, we only knew how to get home using the 7 line and it got shut down - fire somewhere- LOL! once we lived through that and got home around 1:30 am— I was game for most anything
One of the greatest things about NYC is Radio City Music Hall...The Top of the Rock is a great observatory and a tour of NBC (even though it is a far left organization) has so much history. Most of the TV syndicated shows are winding down taping for the season, but it is always fun to see whatever show may still be in production. Also, Bemlemens Bar at the Carlyle is a must!
