LOS ANGELES – The wife of former Clippers owner Donald Sterling is owed $2.6 million by a woman her husband showered with gifts, a judge ruled Tuesday.
Judge Richard Fruin Jr. awarded Shelly Sterling most of the nearly $3 million she had sought.
Sterling had claimed that money used to buy V. Stiviano a house, luxury cars and expensive gifts was her community property.

Why does the media only call her “V” Stiviano? What is her real name? Isn’t her full legal name in the court documents? Why only use her initial and never her name?
I doubt he was paid anything. Civil court judges are a pretty jaded lot. They get paid enough for the job they do, which is pretty low key and low stress.
Family court judges are fellow travelers. Activists.
If it WAS community property and Donald owns half of the community property, why could not the monies he spent on V have come from his half??????
Like Donald or not, the man earned his money and even if he is bonkers over a babe, he has the right to spend his money how he sees fit.
I have never seen a contested asset worth $2 billion dollars go through the courts and had a sale finalized with this jet rocket speed. Donald must have had the worst lawyers in the USA.
Her name is Maria Perez or something like that. Perez is the last name. Vivian Stiviano is a name she calls herself.
