I think if a poll were done here on Free Republic, most of the truly Conservative FReepers would indeed characterize Tiger Woods as a thug. I may be wrong — and I don't want to mischaracterize her in any way — but stalwart FReeper onyx gave a BUMP to my post (#45) where I used the term "thug" to describe Tiger Woods. I certainly appreciate her taking the time to do so, since she's multi-tasking, hard at work with the FReepathon. If I have wrongly taken her BUMP to my post as agreement, then sincere apologies from me to all pinged in this post.

By the way, this thread from 2010 shows that I'm not alone in pinning the "thug" label on Tiger Woods. Here's the picture that's discussed in that thread:

A thug is someone who physically assaults someone. A thug is not a guy who works out wearing a stocking cap. Are you this much of a p*ssy in real life? Do you hide under your bed every time a scary black man comes around?

Lets face it.... you don’t like Tiger Woods because he’s had a less than stellar personal life, and because he’s *cough*, black. Therefore, in your bigoted mind, he’s a “thug”.

Nothing Tiger has EVER done would characterize him as such, but based on carefully selected pictures, you decide he’s one.
