They don't WANT to get it, Yaelle. They are acting just like Liberal Socialist Democrats using Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Their purpose here is to make this thread and every Apple thread completely unwelcoming for the members of the Apple Ping group. They are being asshats deliberately . . . as Alinsky's Rules describe. Their purpose is to through feces, write on the walls, break windows, turn this thread into a slum, and insult people by association. There are about five or six of them and they are working in a coordinated fashion in every Apple thread.

Swordmaker, I know that you have too much integrity and respect for privacy to confirm it, but I’m guessing that some of these irrational Apple-hating idiots are on your ping list so that they can be alerted and add their strange comments early in the Apple threads.
The impact on the other tech companies is a given but I will be curious to see how this is going to impact the luxury watch market since the gold edition takes square aim at that. There was line of thought in the 1970s that luxury watch industry was in grave danger when quartz watches came along but it kept on going but this is definitely a new challenge.
Did you listen to the Tech Guy radio show today? There were people on there talking about the specific benefits of an apple or other phone connected watch. Again, they are for busy, hardworking people (even moms) who don’t have octopus arms. One man was going on about how he could leave his phone charging and still get new business calls and info. I really don’t think it matters who the head of apple sleeps with. Jobs was a piece o work but he headed a company whose products have made the world better (and worse as all tech has the potential to be used for evil).
If the naysayers don’t care about these products, stay off the threads.
