Thank you! I’ve been having flashbacks to the Carter years ever since gas process went up and my income went down with the economy...

Yes, Take-Oot is an option there, particularly at Tim Hortons…

(In Australia, I recall the term was “take-away”; and from Canadian ex-pats, you might hear “take-away, eh?” ;)

At the risk of sounding like too much of a hipster... Oh what the heck I’ll ask anyway— have you ever tried cold brew iced coffee? They started selling it at Starbucks and it is markedly smoother tasting and less acidic than iced coffee which is brewed hot the traditional way. I bought a cold brew pitcher on Amazon and made it overnight last night (same concept as the old “sun tea”) and it’s quite good. It makes a concentrate that you then add either milk or water to before drinking. Packs a caffeine punch.

This is scary: it will give the “sashay” types certain cachet to exert their authority:

A bunch of MrT5’s relatives still live in Canada-they seemed to end every sentence with eh? and they emphasized different syllables of some words than we do here.

I’ve been making sun tea for years, but I’ve never liked iced coffee-my mom drank it long before it was fashionable.

Water. On occasion tea, edpecially if I have a cold. Or cocoa if it’s cold and snowy.

But usually just water. An energy drink mid-morning.

Water doesn’t taste good to me until lunch time. I mix my protein shake with coffee and that’s breakfast.
