Nothing in the Star Trek world after the original Series has been really good. Some of them are watchable but that is about all. Some of them are pretty bad.

Try the Star Trek Continues webseries. It seems surprisingly good, and I hear good things about Star Trek Exeter as well although I have not gotten around to viewing it yet.
