Oh, wow, you’re right! He played Mike Ryerson!
That blue-gray skin, and those eyes, scared the heck out of me then AND now.
RIP.

He was a great story teller too. I have his CD Celestrial Navigations. You can hear his stories on youtube.

Very good actor. He played a great villain in High Plains Drifter. Had no idea Juliette Lewis was his daughter.
RIP.

Stan Freeberg also passed away yesterday. He was a comedian, writer, advertising exec, voice over guy for Warner Brothers cartoons and many other things.
To: EveningStar
Never knew he was Juliette’s father. His filmography provides a great list of old TV series. RIP Mr. Lewis.

I recognize him as the villain from “The Shadow Riders,” a TNT Western that starred Tom Selleck.

That's the role (Mike Ryerson) that I remember him for too. I can still see him rocking in the rocking chair at Jason Burke's house.

I'm sure everyone has a favorite piece of his great body of work. My favorite, among many, is as the U.S. ambassador to Morocco in
The Wind and the Lion. Then there are all those Clint Eastwood movies. Didn't know he was Juliette Lewis' dad. Wow.
