She was heavily into abortion related stories, almost obsessively so, in my opinion. The numerous articles she posted were well very written, and researched, many with excruciating detail. Just by reading some of the headlines I was warned that this was going to be yet another profoundly sad story to read. I would often chose to keep going, since due to certain aspects of my life, I’m already quite familiar with feelings of futility and despair.
I’m sure she’ll return when she can, it’s just usually too sad and dark a topic for me to read about more than 10 times every day. True enough, that may show a flaw in my own character.
