Chrome is crashing more and more and is such a huge memory hog.

Haven't had any issues with Chrome - are you keeping it updated?

Absolutely. Right now I am on the latest builds and it has 10 instance running in according to task manager with values as high as 350 Mb of RAM. I only have three tabs running.
