Hey, FREEPers...it wasn't that long ago that the nation, by the millions, stood outside in long lines for Chick-Fil-A and many also stood by the Robertson family when the A&E morons tried to fire the dad...
Can we try and get some folks to stand up to the liberal fascists on this freedom of religion issue, too? I mean, this is all about intimidating us into shutting up.
I am a wee bit frustrated that: 1. this has been allowed to be an issue while Obama pursues perverted relations with Iran
2. the economy continues to falter
3. very very few people (other than the conservative punditry) seem to be making a loud case for this issue.
And please, I don't mean to turn this into a politician bashfest...we all know some turn to squish when the heat is on but hey--if, perhaps, we were a little bit louder, they might grow stronger spines.

I think our generation of conservatives and /or christians (those 40 and over) are just not used to having to explain , defend and define everything we do at our place of work. The older you get, the less accustomed we are to engaging in these rhetorical street fights that seem to be happening everywhere.
The internet has helped many of us become aware of this curious ‘sport-hating’ or ganging up that’s going on now. Even ten years ago, if someone said, ‘Oh, the Governor better not pass that bill, because Nestles, Johnson and Johnson plus H&RBlock say they won’t do business in that state, I would have been shocked.
We are still coming to terms with just how serious, how caustic this trend has become.
Chic-fil-a, and Duck Dynasty “activism” involved eating a delicious, deep fried, white meat, chicken sandwich, and watching a funny TV show. Gotta anything like that?

What are we supposed to do?
Nobody has suggested a simple, direct action that the public can take to do something about this issue.
With Duck Dynasty, we could call the cable companies, the network, cancel subscriptions, etc. With Chick-Fil-A, we could go out and get dinner there. Anyone could do those things and support the cause without a huge investment of time and money.
So, if we want a similar groundswell, we need to point the masses in a direction and say “do this thing that you can accomplish”. Then I think you’ll see what you are looking for.

They are effectively being replaced and ZERO-ed out by illegals.
We tried. We failed. But we better DAMN well be ready right after the failure so we can take back the country and throw out the garbage. In other words, bide our time and wait and gamble we can restore something.
Chick-Fil-A management took a stand and the people backed them up. This time, the ‘Republican’ figureheads are COWERING at the slightest hint of incoming. It would help if the Republican LEADERS would show some GUTS.
