Yikes - that’s above the tree line, isn’t it?

Cloudcroft is far enough south that the tree (and grass) line is higher than that. The golf course there is, as I understand it, the highest in the USA if not the world.

Just looked it up on a topographic map and the course appears to range from 8663' to 8813' above sea level.

I’m mostly a weekend PGA guy, and I’m not familiar with that course.

I just Googled Cloudcroft.

The town has three live webcams on their website.

None of the golf course, though.

According to the website:

“Cloudcroft Webcam is a must for anyone planning a trip to the area or if you'd just like to see what's going on 9,000 ft above stress level!”
