A New York City law firm says it has filed a class action lawsuit accusing the Syracuse-based Dinosaur Bar-B-Que chain of failing to pay its tipped workers fair wages.
The suit claims Dinosaur failed to properly use the "tipped credit" provision in federal law, which requires employers to make up the difference between tips and pay to meet minimum wage standard....The suit also claims Dinosaur failed to properly pay overtime wages, "misappropriated" tips belonging to the tipped workers, wrongly required tipped workers to share tips with managers for large events and failed to properly pay workers for shifts exceeding 10 hours....
In 2008, a majority stake in the company was sold to a company controlled by billionaire financier George Soros.

Stayed tuned....
I’m afraid to go to the Dinosaur. I fear I might accidently cause one of those huge rows of Harleys to do the domino effect thing, and then have to go running down Franklin Street in fear of my life.
been to the one in Rochester many times before i found out $oros was involved, haven't been back since... now we goto Sticky Fingers
Same here. Haven’t been back in years.
I went there once or twice. Overrated and rude hostesses. My husband stops in whenever he is in Syr., which isn’t often.
The best thing about that place are the walls.
Getting the brontosaurus ribs might cause your car to tip over.

Stickey Lips offers the new Sunday Gospel ( and R&B) Buffet after the owner saw its success down South.
Imagine family style pit-barbeque right after Church, with Gospel music (10:30 AM - 2:00PM ).
I hope they offer extra napkins or those 'dribble-bibs' with a 'gutter' on the bottom for Sunday clothes !

Try Good Smoke BBQ in East Rochester - best in Town (no, it's not me). The owner is responsible for producing the Roc City Ribfest
