Yeah, I know it is, and I like it all right; husband and I watch it. I'm not bashing it; I'm simply saying it's brainless entertainment and very different from TWD, which we prefer.
Michonne was in the living room. The bedrooms are upstairs, which is where I assume the kids would be.
Right. We just had walkers get in through an open gate, a resident murder and consequently executed, and she comes in the house to get her gear and doesn’t check on the kids? Nah, I’m going to bet they’re okay. But there were other people that were alone. Tara and Rosita?
Then I probably responded to the wrong post. Glad you enjoy it in its own way.
Tara and Rosita, and plenty of others, I imagine.
It does seem like Michonne would go straight to check on them. But the blood on that sword-—who did Pete attack before reaching the meeting? And IMO it’s odd that Carl, if he heard the guy break in, wasn’t right there wanting to know what was going on.
Maybe the blood didn’t belong to either of the kids; I hope you’re right. But I’ll be worried unless someone from the show comes out and says they’re fine.
At least one Walking Dead forum site has picked up on the bloody blade. One theory posits it was just a continuity mistake. I’m not sure I buy that.
You didn’t respond to the wrong one. :) I’m fine with discussion and honest opinions...I like that we can do that as fans here.
BTW, what did you think of the promo for the companion series? I thought it looked kind of interesting.
Yes, and last night Gabriel showed us that he CAN take out a walker. Training and practice will make him able to do it without throwing a fit, lol.
Maggie's peacemaking reminded me of Herschel in that scene.
" Eugene did it, Gabriel can do it, too. "
Yeah and I think Eugene will step up even more now.
"And not to spoil to much from the comics, he will....but then this is the TV show and he could become zombie-bait anytime."
Good. I don't want him going anywhere. It took me a long time, but I've really become attached to him, Abe, and Rosita.

I don’t buy it, either. On WD, there are many little details like that that come back to mean something later.
But I can’t see Carl not being aware and ready.
Yeah, I’m wondering if it’s Pete’s boy to get back at the wife. Orrrrrr, it really was just a mistake and we’ll be wondering about it until next season and it will never be answered. :)
Scary stuff.
Well that was not the big finale I was hoping for. I thought that W guys were going to invade but I guess now we’ll have to wait alllllllllll the way till next year or is it fall of this year it starts?
Each season usually begins in mid-October. My guess is that the next season will start on October 11th, but I haven’t seen that confirmed anywhere.
I thought they did a good job of setting things up for the next season, but without leaving a big cliffhanger like they did with the Terminus storyline.
Yes. And if a Freeper caught it (and that was a GREAT catch), no doubt plenty of TWD crew would have, too.
"But I cant see Carl not being aware and ready."
I agree. But what if they were both asleep?
LOL, I know, I'm already driving myself nuts.
If he killed his own son....!
Yep, I remember when the three of them came into the show, I dismissed them as being too comic book. I felt that way for a long time. But the show has a way of manipulating your feelings, lol, and now they’re very much members of the family.
Turned out to be an hour of commercials and 30 minutes of the show. At least it sure seemed like it.
I think if Pete had killed someone, it would have been noted, as it showed Michonne later on putting her sword back on rather than hang it, so I would THINK in that time another death would have been noted.
I’m thinking that it might be the guy’s son’s blood on the blade. Although he DID go into Rick’s house. And what did he go there for?
Rick? He was supposed to be at the meeting and not at home.
The Katana? Perhaps - but I imagine the guy had his own weapons.
Carl and the baby? He could have guessed they were there.
But, as one of my daughters mentioned, they wouldn’t have Carl or Judith just be gone from the show and not show how they died as they are such big characters. However, SOMETHING happened that they didn’t show.
Perhaps it was the son, and now Rick can “console” the new widow.
I was telling my girls that we’re going to have to wait longer for the WD to come back on than they were in mom’s tummy! (And we survived that too!)
