Redemption seems to be the theme of the finale.
Gabriel is capable of destroying walkers and Maggie reached out to him and now that his guilt is out in the open they can deal with it.
Eugene and Abraham have made up.
Glenn didn’t kill the idiot.
I think Morgan will bring some stability and moderation to Rick.

But didn’t one of the last scenes show Judith putting something in ricks mouth while she is sitting on his lap? Carl wasn’t in that scene. Maybe Carl fell on the sword to save Judith. Or was that an old scene?

OMG! I'm going to rewatch right now....
You're right. That blade was covered in blood when Pete swung it back, before he struck Reg with it. We know that Michonne always cleans it off, and that it was indeed clean when she hung it over the mantel.
In the last scene, Michonne's brow began to wrinkle as something seemed to be occurring to her. And why was Carl not right there, wanting to know who broke into the house?

Or was that an old scene?" That was a scene from early in the season, when the group first found Father Gabriel's church. I just rewatched the last part of the show and I didn't see any flashblacks of it.

Where was Michonne when she put her sword back on? I took it that she was back in the house because she had to get scabbard for it? So, if something had happened to Carl and Judith, wouldn’t she have already discovered it?

You must have confused it with "Z Nation."
Ah, give ZNation a break, it's fun its own way, and Murphy is a hoot on it, and there have been some great character arcs, and they had the tornado zombie thing before TWD did, and did it in a better way. Don't get me wrong, still like TWD, ZN is just a different flavor, more humor which I like.
