A former co-star of Christopher Reeve's ripped the "Superman" actor in a recent interview, according to TMZ.
Jack O'Halloran, the actor who played the mute villain Non in "Superman II," said some harsh things about his late co-star when a TMZ cameraman ran into him recently in Southern California, calling Reeve a prima donna who "believed his own publicity."

No kidding. He fought 57 professional bouts. That's the definition of heart. That he's still lucid at 71 shows he's dodged the traditional downside of boxing - concussion-related dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's/generic neurological problems. He must come from a long line warriors/bruisers.

If i were in charge i would say that this was.not at all newsworthy.
The media had Reeve tagged to play Al Bore in globore warming films.
This really isn’t news. If you read the entire article you will see he changed his view later after seeing Reeves work through his accident.
I know people who knew Reeves when he was just breaking out, he starred in a play in Lenox MA. Their assessment of his was similar.
Only, please, don't start saying that he died because he thought he really was Superman.
Reeves was a sailplane pilot and flew gliders in the UK and the Mojave Desert. I do know that several desert glider ports invited him not to return...:^)
On one Johnny Carson show I heard him describing his glider flying as being like Superman flying - hardly a safety attitude...
Carson was a pilot too

I saw that. :)
No. i am saying the reason the original source ran it should be in question.
But he never said he felt like Superman while he was flying...:^)
The Mercury and TMZ articles are from entertainment writers. I don’t go in for this stuff, but some people do. It’s not uncommon for entertainment writers to sensationalize non-events.
I posted the article because I thought it was interesting. At least it’s not pornographic or sacrilegious. :)
See post 32. This is how these writers make a living. :)
No obviously.
Christopher’s very last on screen appearance of any kind was in a video that I produced for the NPS. His wife, Dana, was a miracle. The things he endured just to survive on a daily basis were unbelievable. He was a Superman.
True but i have never been very interested in celebrities
Neither am I. I don’t watch those shows, but some folks here do. However, I’ll continue to post articles that catch my eye and look interesting.
Sokay. I miss stuff all the time. :)
No, not at all. People should post whatever they want. Honest. That’s not what I meant.
I meant that it wasn’t news that CR was full of himself. He was tall, handsome and on a roll. Who wouldn’t be a little full of himself.
Sorry about the choice of words.
Please don’t be sorry. You did nothing wrong. It was I who misunderstood.
