i read the part that you highlight, but i still don’t get it.
he says, “they make us deny out christian beliefs”. thats not very specific. do they get them in a room and tell them to say they don’t believe in christianity?
maybe i’m either being thick skulled or too finicky, i just don’t see where he notes specific actions.
He clearly states that employees are required to observe and promote LGBT month. To do so would require you to ignore Christian teachings would it not? Well at least historical Christian teachings as I am not so sure that teaching is still being taught in some Christian churches.
If the store has a month-long LGBT promotion, presumably employees are instructed to "do" something about it, even if it is wearing "the mark of the beast" in the form of a lapel pin celebrating "Home Depot LGBT Month." As a Christian, he would have to go against his deeply-held beliefs to promote a sexual lifestyle at odds with his understanding of sin. He would feel that he is harming both the individuals who engage in this behavior and anyone else who may be influenced by the campaign to believe that LGBT behaviors are widely socially accepted when in the case of employment, many of the employees are in fact coerced to behave as if they accept it.
