Fight “night” card was on Sat. I totally missed the live viewing and didn’t get my picks in cause I didn’t know it started at noon!
Chad Mendes TKOed the hell out of Ricardo Lamas.
Former Featherweight Contender Dustin Poirier (who couldn’t beat top guys at 145) had a successful return to lightweight, where he fought earlier in his career.
Julianna Pena had a successful return from a horrible injury (4 ligament tears I think).
The once impressive Gray Maynard had an unsuccessful return, dropping a decision to Alexander Yakovlev.
And Clay Guida won and dissed Barack Obama in his post fight remarks! You just won me back as a fan, Clay.
I caught the last 2 fights. Had no idea it was on so early. Great fights!

I’m going with Crocop. I think he knows to watch for the kick this time.
Crocop landed several very effective elbows which busted Gonzaga up, followed by vintage Crocop hammer fists. Crocop wins by stoppage in the 4th.
Correction: The official time of the stoppage is 3:30 even of the third round
Sadly, I went 1-3 in my main card picks. I like Cro Cop even though he was a center-left MP in the Croatian Parliament.
