WASHINGTON -- Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) said on CBS "Face the Nation" on Sunday that he had no regrets at all over the letter he orchestrated to be sent to Iranian ayatollahs warning them that any deal struck with the Obama administration over their countrys nuclear program could be cancelled by a future administration or Congress.

I like Tom. I hope he lasts in Washington before the RINOs try to wall him out. Most of the older Congressmen have long forgotten what it was like being optimistic, being prepared to win and expecting to triumph.
Cotton was exceptional. Schneider was a d$2k. It was 3 v 1, with Schneider, Kerry, then Manchin on one side and Cotton on the other. Cotton was articulate, completely refuted everything the libs said.
Doh. Bob Schieffer. I was so mad I couldn’t even type straight.
He does need to keep this ball rolling by lobbying other senators to at some point reign in the office of the president in a big sort of way. There are over 200 years of presidential excesses, and congress does need to restore the balance somewhat. For example:
1) Outlaw the Presidential Signing Statement. It is perhaps the most unconstitutional act of the presidency, which takes both legislative and judicial powers and vests them in the president. While it has only aggravated up to this point, it would be the tool to establish dictatorship.
2) Outlaw Czars. All people who control departments and agencies must be approved by the senate, outside of the White House staff. Otherwise, they should be denied any authority or public money. This includes the unelected spouse of the president.
3) Restoration of the War Powers Act and the Posse Comitatus Act. Create strict rules about executive privilege, recess appointments, proclamations and other executive directives, announcements and memos.
4) Return of the majority of western land takings to the individual states.
5) Reign in the executive branch to only perform those functions authorized in clear language by congress. Their default should never be extrapolation or interpolation, but carrying out the letter of the law.
Let the Wookie win, yefraget. :)
I’m still waiting for this one from somebody on our side:
Bob, you’re 78 years old, making a million bucks a year. Have you considered retiring and letting CBS hire a couple struggling Columbia journo grads with $150,000 student debt?
Bobber is nothing but a tool of The Managerial State, and probably a member of NAMOLA (North American Media-Obama Love Association).
motto - "We're not as bad as NAMBLA, as far as YOU know!"
Bob is thicker than Hillary’s cankles.
ROTFL!
You need to keep firing these broadsides. I saw that you did Andrea Mitchell on Friday...
I love how Rush does “Angria Mitchell”
Rush knows how to give it to them till they cry.
WHAT THE HELL IS THERE TO ‘REGRET’???
motto - "We're not as bad as NAMBLA, as far as YOU know!"
“Skeletor” Schieffer is harrumphing, smarmy, condescending & arrogant.
So typically liberal. A Mario Cuomo understudy.
Obama administration reaction to the letter shows Obama is working with the Iranians ,Hmm maybe Obama is planning a Hostage Taking in the US ,Oh wait he’s been doing that for 6+ years now
