The debate over climate science has taken a nasty turn.
Vice President Biden painted skeptics of climate change as stupid in a recent interview.
"I Ihink its close to mindless, he said of skeptics on the HBO program Vice. I think its like, you know, almost like denying gravity now. This is a stunning development, that the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, who should know more than anybody else in the world, whos proposing hundreds of billions of dollars in costs to prevent this climate and temperature increases, doesnt know whether their projections have been right or wrong, Sessions said.
Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), probably the most famous climate skeptic in Congress, brought a snowball to the Senate floor recently. While he didnt throw it at any of his Democratic antagonists, he used the prop to suggest their demands were misplaced.
"Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) at a March meeting was surprised to see that EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy did not know the details of previous climate change models.

I am an Solvable/Catastrophic/Continuous-Warming-Crisis Unconvinced Observer, which means I have doubts over any one of the first three items that I am supposed to accept in order to not be labeled as a "Climate Change Denier".
So putting aside the fact that there is a vast difference between being "unconvinced" and being a "denier", those who make that claim should immediately be challenged to justify the specific assertions that there is NO room for ANY doubt with regard to EITHER 1) there is a continuous warming crisis, 2) the consequences of that crisis will be catastropic within a meaningful period of time, *** OR *** 3, those consequences can be solved by significant actions taken my humans, and those solutions SHOULD be taken if if they have serious consequences of their own.
