That’s not a surprise. Vietnamese haven’t forgotten all the American blood spilled for their country. Their families didn’t simply buy a plane ticket and come to America on a whim, they escaped under brutal conditions and were rescued by us. They are grateful. The elders remember and won’t put up with anyone trashing this country.
That’s not the same for many of our other “guests” who embrace the victimology game as soon as they set foot here, joining the let’s bash whitey chorus.
