It happened at 4am, nothing good happens after midnight.....

The shooting occurred about two blocks north of a college where I sometimes teach in Orlando (will start a class Tuesday night). It’s not in the “poor section” of town per se, but the corner where it occurred has a bunch of fast food restaurants and a Goodwill.
The giveaway is that the shooting occurred at 4 AM. Nothing good happens at a corner with a Goodwill at 4 AM.

the NFL running back cut by the New York Jets last month, was injured in a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in Orlando, Florida, when an unknown gunman or gunmen pulled up alongside the Jeep in which he was a passenger when it stopped at a red light and opened fire.
And people constantly ask me why I never entered the NFL.........There you have it.

Having worked in the ER of a major hospital located in a major city (on both the evening *and* night shifts) I can confirm that absolutely *nothing* good ever happens after midnight.
