This story has more to it. I’ve owned a Glock since the first year they were available. A soda can won’t trip the trigger.

I agree that a soda can won’t pull the trigger, but a loose Glock in a purse could have a pen, lipstick, roll of mints, or tampon partially inserted in the trigger guard. A soda can could easily push on that lever to fire the gun.

I’ve owned Glocks since 1990 and any Glock carried should be a Glock in a holster of some kind.

Show me a woman's purse that isn't "full of stuff".

I suspect it was the ACME brand trigger puller she had in there.

Also, in 30+ years of marriage I don't recall ever putting a drink of any sort in my wife's purse.
