...record-breaking six-year, $114 million contract...BTW, I freely admit I was wrong about the new coach in Detroit -- he obviously got the best out of Suh and the rest of the team, and calmly handled the problems with the kickers (three or four wasn't it?). I don't think Detroit will miss Suh all that much as long as this guy is holding the reins.
On the defense side, Nick Fairley appears to be gone or at least a goner; they’ve got enough on the bench to develop any (older) free agents and any rookie draft picks they nab. Or at least, they’ll *have* to. :’) A dominant player like Suh tends to obscure whomever else is on the team. Not exactly a plus to have him gone, but perhaps not as devastating as it looks.
Special teams is always teetering on the brink, especially in Detroit. I’d guess the coach will address any of those problems with some shifts and some free agent moves. Prater’s been signed to a three year.
On the offensive side, they look to be shoring up their running game, which makes sense, Stafford is not getting any younger, and everyone else in the league looks like they have shutdown corners when they play the Lions.
That ex-security guard was the biggest sports story of last year in Detroit, afaic. :’)

What about ... in Anglicized French ... Lean Dean jean!
Dear raymann,
Spent time in good ol’ Portland, or.
(Believe me, it IS the land of ‘or’.)
Somebody mentions cameroon, and what comes to mind?????
A train, Eddie Murphy, his fly swatter, and beef jerky!
Then he went and pulled that happy dance on Rodgers.
That WAS a disgrace. He should have been suspended for multiple games through part of next year, forfeiting a percentage of his salary.
Good luck to Miami, I hope their coach gets him in line, but somehow I doubt he will be as good as Caldwell was at reigning him in. The guy must be filled with too many roids or simply one head hit too far gone.
