The 150 or so who support him will never do anything for the shmuck. They support him because he is a schmuck they can push around.

I wonder what inducements/threats Speaker Orangutan made to the 75 ‘Democrats-for-a-Day’.
My rep voted for it last week, but got on the “Hey! I stood firm!” list this time, I’m supposing because he’s a committee chairman.
Of course, it may have been because he was getting angry messages from his province.
But the important thing is, the lachrymose Orangutan was finally able to satisfy his SEIU, La Raza and US Chamber of Commerce paymasters by passing a—clearing throat—”clean” Bill, and now Barry can start churning out more EOs.
The Inner Party really doesn’t have a smidgen of respect for the political acumen or quite patience of their Outer Party/prole base, do they?
Even the weasels and snakes who think they cleverly covered their tracks—they’re going to pay for succumbing to Beltway hybris, and when it happens, like Luger and Cantor, the GOPee and it’s clever vote counters are going to be asking one another:
“Did anyone get the number of that Mack truck that just trashed our Party!?”
Politics is about who can bribe who, it seems! Folks who are elected by the majority of us peons are suppose to be about how they can help us and America. We seem to have lost the elections to those who know how to bribe best. Government is about those in power and not those that wish they could be in power for good. Actually, those folks are probably long gone by now... We have lost!! Government is too corrupt to recover.
