Any demographic group that can bring in diseases thought to be previously eradicated in the modern world, is capable of bringing in measles.

If the CDC doesn't show specific traceability there is still anecdotal data from Border Patrol agents describing rashes and other diseases in children at detention centers and were directed to stop disclosing that information by their bosses..

Also, the timing seems to be more than just a coincidence.

Read the article. This was the B strain of measles. It came from Asia and the MMR is less effective at actually protecting against it, which the MMR uses genetic material from strain A
