Residents across the Upper Midwest may soon get the snowfall some have been wanting more of this winter.
Heavy snow is expected Tuesday in parts of Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
A band from west-central to northeastern Minnesota could see the heaviest amounts, 4-6 inches. Blizzard conditions are expected in south-central and west-central Minnesota as well as across south-central to northeastern South Dakota.

Let me know when the spring crappie bite starts. I’m thinking of coming north to do some jigging with my BIL out that way (Gillettes Lake, Pinkney RA, etc.)
Wanna meet up for a 4AM breakfast if I head north?

The 145 truck stop burned this winter so that’s out. They’re rebuilding this summer.

What the heck! Why is there a patch of rain/snow, by itself over Omaha?

Heavy snow coming down in the Twin Cities right now. No wind but thick. Typical crap weather for the frozen tundra in late winter ...

Wow. I was just there about a month ago! Had to go home for the FIL’s funeral.
At the time, they were running a line of folks out the door looking for minnows...the “bite” was on. Maybe it was a different convenience&fish-bait outlet? (S&B C-store, if my memory serves me somewhat...)

was suppose to start at 3 am...
I am just starting to see flakes at 8 am. The storm either slowed down and is going to dump more or they got it wrong yet again.

Wind is coming. I am in Rapid City. Blew like crazy all night. I-90 -travel not advised from the Bad Lands to Murdo. We haven't gotten as much snow as they forcasted but the wind is a pretty steady 30 mph gusting to 47mph. Yeah spring!
Kept up half the night by a puppy who was having a grand time playing in the snow and a husband that kept opening the squeaky door to try and talk puppy back inside.

You live in the prettiest area, Cripplecreek. I know you are probably sick of it but that picture is so.. serene.

Actually, the snow is even starting to let up now. Not much more than an inch or two on the ground. But with this worthless weather and global warming, who knows what could happen next???
