That’s a good point, along with no more drunk driving arrests. There are all sorts of benefits here!!

Why buy Tesla for $75 billion? Tesla cannot possibly be worth $75 billion. Their sales have been less than $1 billion in their entire history. Apple could buy it right now for $26 billion. Heck, Apple could buy controlling interest in ALL of the American auto industry for $85 Billion and still have $100 Billion left in the bank!
- General Motors Market Cap $60 Billion
- Ford Motors Market Cap: $64 Billion
- Chrysler Motors Market Cap: $19 Billion
- Tesla Motors Market Cap: $26 Billion
TOTAL $169 Billion.

Would these cars have any serviceable parts? If so, would I need a pentalobe socket set to work with them?
On the other hand, they won’t be ugly.

I believe the push behind self driving cars is that over the next 20 years the US see increasingly larger numbers of crippled/disabled/frail baby boomers. That reminds me of my cousin, she's 78 and scares me when she drives. As in straddling two lanes because she can't stay within one lane.
What I predict for aging baby boomers is a need for mobile aids such as electric wheelchairs, etc. Electric motor assists for bicycles are becoming hot. How about self-driving robotic exo-skeletons that can also climb stairs, and eslf-driving wheelchairs? You're right that we'll see a huge increase in frail baby boomers.
Rather than look at self-driving electric cars, I would invest in mobility aids for seniors, it's going to be a growth market.

This thread is about cars.
You posted a really BIG picture in a thread about cars.
But I didn’t notice any cars in the picture.

Actually that’s Nissan, Toyota’s is the Tundra
But based on the lousy sales, it’s more like the Titanic

Let me guess. When the battery finally gives out of your old Apple Car, it’s cheaper to throw out your old Apple Car and simply buy the next gen Apple Car instead.

Here is an article just put up today that has 20 of apple's favorite photos shot with the iPhone 6. We talked about some before but these are all new. And fantastic. Almost enough to make me put away my dslr and get an iPhone just to take pictures and make short video clips.
You should post this. Pls ping me if you do :-).
