They probably got about 6 or 7 inches of rain yesterday and some wind gusts to 60 mph. More pictures at link. In the last one you can see the scoreboard in the lake. No more scoreboard.
Golf course seems fine. Soft, but will play ok.
Phil is on the leader board. He travels 3,000 miles to play one of the toughest courses on tour and Tiger can't drive a half hour.
Run some airboat races down the fairway today as a throw-in for the fans?
Here's another beauty - you don't see this very often:

Mickelson hitting it all over the map. Poulter is telling it where to go.
Will be interesting/anti-climatic the way this plays out w/ no thought of finishing today and no re-pairing. Sort of sucks.
Is a fishing pole in the bag considered a club?

Guess it happens to the best of them........
The place is a torture chamber. Wouldn’t surprise me if anyone missed the cut there. Rory lives across the street, btw.
Then he should be more than familiar with the course and no excuse to not making the cut........
Hope it doesn't get in his mind since there have been other top golfers, Ian Baker Finch comes to mind who after winning the 1991 British open, self destructed and missed 32 consecutive cuts between '94 and '97 and gave up the tour.......
Being at the top of the tour, Rory now has the distinction of having to deal with the very pressures that have plagued Woods throughout his career. Can Rory deal with it? We'll see........
As for Woods, his problem is now all mental and for the tour's sake, I hope he can overcome it........In my unprofessional opinion, he's in need of a quality sports psychologist.........
Actually I take that back. He moved up the Intracoastal just south of the Donald Ross bridge in Jupiter. They all live and play here at the same clubs: Bears Club, Old Palm, Dye Preserve, Tequesta CC., Medalist, MacArthur, etc.
If Phil makes that 10 footer he has left for par it could get interesting fast. I've been a fan of his since I don't know when, but I'm liking Patrick Reed more every week.
It's good sport drama all the way around. I don't think Poulter will stay strong and I'm glad to see Casey recovering from the low he went into after shooting his mouth off about American golfers.
II like seeing David Duvall at the desk and hearing his comments, too. (But, I still think Notah is the best)
It should be exciting. Tough golf course. I think the Honda should replace Doral as the WGC event.
It’s a better golf course, better venue, better attendance, better visual tv experience, etc.
Global warming ??
