Little puffs of blue smoke will be blowing out the tailpipe?
Or am I still stuck with 1970’s Yamaha imagery?
They are really good with engines. Over the years they’ve worked with GM, Ford, Toyota, etc.
So, they are 40 years behind Honda, in changing their business model.

Probably thinking of the RD 350-400 series two stroke twin. I had one set up as a “cafe” bike and it was a blast to ride, a real giant killer.
Yamaha makes an naturally aspirated inline four cylinder four stroke for their 600cc sport bikes that produces 125hp and red lines around 16,000 rpm. I had the de-tuned version in the FZ6 model. Top speed indicated on the speedometer (which IS a bit optimistic) that I’ve seen was 154 mph.
