I registered at the Post Office.
I wouldn’t have but my Mom drove me there and said I had to.

The Post Office? We had Draft Board’s in the 60’s. A kid in my high school class could sign the selective service lady’s name perfectly. He ripped off a stack off blank draft cards in 61-62. We were all 21 on paper and drinking beer at 15 in Virginia Beach, VA. We had names like Thomas Dobson Boozer III, William Baer Pablowski. Poor Mrs Bovie. We paid $5 for the card and $5 for the signature in Hampton.
