It didn’t start out that way. I used to pick up a few extra bucks registering voters at South Coast Plaza and I think the big anchor store was Sears.
I didn’t move to Orange County until 1981, but I sure remember Sears being at South Coast. I did Christmas shopping there ! Thanks for your reply.
